2. Our approach in one paragraph
This site has no user accounts, no sign-up form, no comment section and no search box that could log what you type. There is nothing to fill in anywhere on novatwix.com. What follows is mostly about the small amount of technical information that any website receives simply by being visited, and about the one thing we do intentionally store in your browser.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not operate any contact form, newsletter sign-up, account system, comment system or search function. We do not knowingly collect names, postal addresses, payment details or any other information you might type into a form — because there is no form on this site to type it into. The only way to contact the editor directly is by email, which you send from your own email provider, not through anything hosted on novatwix.com.
4. Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, novatwix.com is served through a content delivery network — Cloudflare — which automatically logs standard technical data for every request: your IP address (used to derive an approximate country or region, then not retained in identifiable form beyond routine security logs), browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and performance metrics such as Core Web Vitals.
If Cloudflare’s own lightweight performance and security telemetry (sometimes called Web Analytics) is active on this domain, it runs without setting a cookie and without collecting information that identifies you personally beyond these aggregate technical metrics. It is part of how the CDN operates the site, not something Novatwix configures per visitor.
5. Why this information is handled
The technical information described above is used only to operate, secure and improve the site — keeping pages loading quickly, detecting abuse or automated attacks, and understanding in aggregate which pages are slow so they can be fixed. It is not used to build a profile of any individual visitor, and it is not sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies and browser storage
Novatwix does not set its own cookies. The site does store one small preference in your browser’s local storage once you interact with the cookie notice banner, so the notice does not reappear on every page. 7. Overseas disclosure (APP 8)
Because this site is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., a United States-based provider, the technical request data described in section 4 is processed on infrastructure that may be located outside Australia. Cloudflare acts as our content delivery and security provider and is contractually bound by its own data processing terms; we do not otherwise disclose personal information to any recipient outside Australia. Where information is handled overseas in this way, we take reasonable steps consistent with APP 8 to ensure it continues to be handled appropriately.
8. How information is secured
The site is served entirely over HTTPS, and Cloudflare provides standard edge-level security protections against common web attacks. Because there is no database of user-submitted information on novatwix.com, there is no account or form data to secure in the first place — the main safeguard is simply that we don’t collect it.
9. How long information is kept
Automatically logged technical request data is retained by Cloudflare only for the standard short-term period needed for security and performance purposes, in line with Cloudflare’s own data handling practices as our CDN provider. Novatwix does not separately export or permanently store this data.
10. Access, correction and complaints
Because we don’t hold accounts or personal profiles, there is generally nothing to request access to or correct. If you believe we hold any personal information about you and want to ask about it, email [email protected] and we will respond directly.

11. Children’s privacy
Novatwix is a general-audience game review site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information (for example, by emailing the editor), contact us and we will delete it.
