The game frames an early objective directly on screen: reach the finish line ahead of the other wolves and the status banner reads "you are alpha wolf." It’s a small piece of structure, but it matters — where the arctic sim is pure ambient wandering, this one gives you something concrete to chase in the first five minutes, which makes it easier to recommend to someone who wants an actual goal rather than a screensaver with paws.

Feeding and thirst loop

Two meters sit in the corner of the screen for hunger and energy, and they drain steadily enough that you’ll be steering toward a river or a foraging spot every few minutes.
